Our executive chef & co-owner Tota Oung was born in Thailand and raised in Montreal by a Cambodian mother. Inspired by his mom’s recipes, he dreamed of opening a restaurant where he could showcase the diversity of Cambodian cuisine while also utilizing his own creativity.
In 2017, thanks to 4 friends, Street Monkeys was born. Today, our menu features mainly Cambodian & Thai inspired dishes with produce sourced from South east Asia and Quebec.
From our aromatic curries to our flavorful stir-fries, every dish is a true celebration of everything Cambodia with a hint of Thailand and Montreal.
